    For this position, you will need a minimum of 5 years Hotel General Manager experience. Hyatt experience a plus.

     

    Must be a team player, titles are secondary in our culture--teamwork is first and foremost.

     

    $80k-$90k/year--based on experience.

    The General Manager must manage the operations of the hotel to maximize the profitable growth of the business and ensure service and product quality to maintain and enhance the integrity of the hotel brand. A BS/BA in hotel management or business is preferred. CHM certification preferred. Previous general manager experience required. Must have a broad understanding and knowledge of hotel marketing, front desk operations, room sales and marketing, housekeeping and maintenance. Computer skills, training skills, and financial skills are required.

    Duties to include, but not limited to :

    + Ensure that overall hotel revenues are maximized by anticipating and planning for market shifts, developing and monitoring strategic marketing prospects, developing implementing and monitoring annual business and marketing plans and participating in appropriate national marketing efforts.

    + Ensure that the food and beverage revenues are maximized by ensuring optional use of banquet/outlet space, outlet concept design and the cost-effective management of the outlets.

    + Maintain visibility with guests and key community contacts to ensure guest satisfaction and a visible presence in the local community.

    + Ensure a cross-trained and motivated employee workforce capable of meeting current and future staffing needs and delivering guest services according to quality standards.

    + Ensure a strong employee culture through the direction, development and support of employees and employee oriented programs.

    + Ensure that product quality standards are met as related to landscaping, decorations, levels of maintenance, cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in all areas of the hotel outlets.

    + Ensure the assets of the hotel and the brand name are maintained through the development and recommendation all annual business and capital plans.

    + Ensure that broad-based marketing and yield management efforts are in place to maximize the number of market segments reached and diversify the sources of revenue.

    + Ensure complete customer satisfaction.
