Job Description
General Description
To be involved in active research training (at least 15 hours per week) on (a) selected project (s) during the entire tenure as a BP-ENDURE scholar. The research must be conducted at Hunter College or one of our partner institutions. Research assistant intern will report directly to Kizzy Vazquez, our program coordinator. Placement of research projects will be made in conjunction with BP-ENDURE Directors and/or Administrator. Mentors or research projects can be changed only after consultation with the BP-ENDURE Directors and/or Administrator.
Research data obtained from this training may be presented during the BP-ENDURE Conference Presentation, Honors week and the Psychology Convention. Scholars should register during the Fall and Spring semesters in Independent Research in their field. At least two independent research classes of 3 credits each are available for you in case you need it.

Qualifications
+ ACCEPTED to the BPENDURE program at HUNTER COLLEGE and Full-time matriculated student at Hunter College.
+ All BP-ENDURE students are expected to meet high academic standards and must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 throughout their academic career. Students not meeting this standard might be placed on probation. A student who’s GPA remains below the required minimum for two consecutive semesters may be dismissed from the program.
+ Students must have a plan or desire to pursue a PhD in neuroscience.
+ All students are required to participate on a full-time basis in a summer internship. Information about possible research placements can be found: in the BP-ENDURE office.
+ Matriculate full-time at Hunter College throughout the academic year (12 credit hrs.). If registering for more than 15 credit hours, the BP-ENDURE Program must approve it.
+ To attend the weekly BP-ENDURE seminars.
+ It is mandatory that all BP-ENDURE Scholars attend (on time) and actively participate in the weekly BP-ENDURE seminar. A syllabus or calendar of topics for the meeting will be discussed at the beginning of each semester.
+ To attend the winter.
+ The January Mini-Course is a short course one year on scientific writing and the other year on SPSS.
+ To attend the BP-ENDURE Conference.
+ Every BP-ENDURE Scholar is expected to attend all of the sessions of this colloquium or an equivalent conference. The colloquium/conference is an excellent place to create networks with representatives of different universities, which may have good graduate programs.
