Job Title: Project/Program Manager IVJob Description
The Project/Program Manager IV is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and programs. This role involves overseeing all aspects of projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress. The manager will prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects and programs. A bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or a related area are preferred. The role requires familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected, as the manager will lead and direct the work of others and typically report to a manager or head of a unit or department.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and complete projects and programs.
+ Oversee all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities.
+ Monitor and summarize progress of projects and programs.
+ Prepare reports for upper management regarding project and program status.
+ Lead and direct the work of others.
+ Ensure successful completion of projects within set deadlines and budget.
Essential Skills
+ Extensive project management and project coordination experience.
+ Proficiency in vendor management and material handling.
+ Experience in engineering equipment installation and commissioning.
+ Knowledge of construction, engineering, and operations engineering.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project, and Outlook.
+ Highly proficient CAD skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 4+ years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation.
+ Direct management of automation project budgets ranging from .5 million to 50 million.
+ Proven technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects.
+ Demonstrated design and/or implementation with integrated automation solutions.
Work Environment
This role offers the opportunity to travel extensively, with up to 75% of time spent at installation sites throughout North America. Employees typically travel on Monday mornings, work on-site during the week, and return home on Friday afternoons, with the option to stay over the weekend if desired. This position involves working closely with internal vendors and provides a chance to build a substantial internal network. The team is supportive of consultants, often recommending them to other teams and opportunities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
