We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to design test fixtures, stimuli, and automated software for testing across multiple manufacturing sites. The role involves authoring comprehensive manufacturing test specifications in collaboration with development partners and contract manufacturers. You will develop procedures, training plans, and debug decision trees for test technicians, analyze product performance data to refine test criteria and improve testing methods, and participate in root cause analysis to address customer issues or warranty claims. Collaboration across functions to resolve systemic design and manufacturing issues and troubleshoot non-conforming products is essential. Support production by investigating build failures, issues, or field failures.
Responsibilities
+ Design test fixtures, stimuli, and automated software for testing across multiple manufacturing sites.
+ Author comprehensive manufacturing test specifications in collaboration with development partners and contract manufacturers.
+ Develop procedures, training plans, and debug decision trees for test technicians.
+ Analyze product performance data to refine test criteria and improve testing methods.
+ Participate in root cause analysis to address customer issues or warranty claims.
+ Collaborate across functions to resolve systemic design and manufacturing issues and troubleshoot non-conforming products.
+ Support production by investigating build failures, issues, or field failures.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in test equipment and test engineering.
+ Experience in test development and electrical engineering.
+ Design and prototyping of test fixtures using Solidworks or AutoCAD Electrical.
+ Robotics and automated equipment expertise.
+ Experience in testing within a manufacturing environment.
+ Hands-on hardware experience.
+ Proficiency in Python programming.
+ Experience with mySQL.
+ Ability to develop test procedures and test plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of embedded systems, electrical control theories, motors, sensors, vision systems, and communication protocols (CANBus, Ethernet, etc.) is preferred.
+ Proficiency in software development with Python, C, C#.
+ SQL experience is a plus.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $78.00/hr.
