Job Title: Senior Water Wastewater EngineerJob Description

The Senior Water Wastewater Engineer will plan, schedule, and execute engineering work on projects while managing budgets, schedules, contractual obligations, and quality standards. This role requires the negotiation of critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers from other organizations and companies. The engineer may handle several projects concurrently and will initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare proposals and conduct interviews with clients.

+ Negotiate contracts with clients following selection.

+ Develop and maintain significant relationships with client management personnel.

+ Deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.

+ Identify the need for and direct subconsultants performing services on projects.

+ Engage actively in professional associations, including presenting technical papers and participating in technical committees.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.

+ Registration as a Professional Engineer.

+ 10-15 years of directly relevant experience in wastewater engineering, specifically with wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems.

+ Demonstrated ability and experience in the design and construction phases of small, medium, and large-sized infrastructure projects.

+ Effective communication skills with clients and project teams.

+ Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in water resources, stormwater management, and design.

+ Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
