Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

This position serves as the subject matter expert for non-destructive test equipment, supporting billet inspection requirements. The role involves establishing troubleshooting guides, preventative maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventories to maximize uptime. Coordination with Operations and the onsite Level 3 Ultrasonic Inspector is essential to ensure testing instruments can perform inspections reliably and repeatedly through an inspection program management strategy.

Responsibilities

+ Establish troubleshooting guides and preventative maintenance schedules.

+ Develop and manage spare parts inventories to maximize equipment uptime.

+ Coordinate with Operations and the onsite Level 3 Ultrasonic Inspector.

+ Ensure reliability and repeatability of testing instruments through inspection program management strategies.

Essential Skills

+ Manufacturing engineering experience.

+ Process engineering expertise.

+ Knowledge of non-destructive testing procedures, preferably ultrasonic inspection.

+ BS Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.

+ Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a testing or quality environment.

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Advanced degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering preferred.

+ Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

+ Effective problem-solving, planning, and project management capabilities.

+ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

+ Familiarity with structured continuous improvement systems such as ACE, CORE, or similar.

Work Environment

The role involves working on the shop floor and engaging directly with operators. It fosters a safe, inclusive, and ethical work environment, encouraging continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
