    About the Role

    We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a float position, offering the opportunity to work across multiple clinics within Claiborne County. We welcome certified Medical Assistants and are open to considering new graduates eager to begin their careers in healthcare.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Record and monitor patient vital signs, including blood pressure.

    + Prepare examination rooms and assist in patient flow.

    + Respond to patient inquiries and handle call backs.

    + Process prior authorizations for procedures and prescriptions.

    + Float between designated clinic locations as needed.

    + Prompt Family Care

    + Heartland Primary Care

    + Claiborne Primary Care

    + Hamblen Primary Care

    + Hamblen Urology (rarely required)

    Required Qualifications

    + Active CCMA/RMA/CMA credential.

    + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in a family practice or primary care setting.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Team-oriented mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
