The Field Operations Engineer provides technical service and support on water purification equipment. This role involves working closely with the Field Service Technician to understand high purity water systems and expand knowledge of customer sites. The engineer will collect technical information, assist with troubleshooting, and provide recommendations for solutions. They will also support the installation team for new system startups and partner with the engineering team to ensure documentation aligns with standardization objectives.
Responsibilities
+ Work with the Field Service Technician to gain an in-depth understanding of existing high purity water systems.
+ Collect technical information and document details for customer sites.
+ Assist with troubleshooting high purity water systems and provide recommendations for solutions.
+ Assist with costing and quoting of services and engineering solutions.
+ Collaborate with the installation team for new system installation and startups.
+ Partner with the engineering team to review documentation objectives and goals.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of mechanical or electrical industry experience.
+ Proficiency in engineering, mechanical engineering, and automechanics.
+ Experience with HVAC, electromechanical engineering, and PLC programming.
+ Ability to interact with customers effectively.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of managing multiple projects under pressure.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, internet browsing, and familiarity with smartphones and tablets.
+ Post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug test required.
Work Environment
The position requires travel to client sites, working in the field, and driving a company truck. This role offers a lot of autonomy, with a focus on training and core values. The ability to be customer-facing is a unique aspect of the position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
Medical InsurancePureflow offers health insurance coverage to eligible employees at no cost to the employee. There is a per call charge that is applied to your deductible and/or out of pocket max, accordingly.Health Savings Account (HSA)Pureflow offers an HSA which can be funded with your pre-tax dollars as a payroll deduction to help pay for eligible medical expenses not covered by the insurance plan, including deductibles and coinsurance. Currently, in addition toany funds deposited by the employee into the HSA, Pureflow contributes $50 per month for participants with employee only coverage and $75 per month for participants with employee plus dependent coverage.Dental InsurancePureflow offers dental insurance coverage to eligible employees at no cost to the employee. Pureflow also provides dependent life insurance for your spouse andchildren in the amount of $15,000.Voluntary Life InsuranceEmployees who want to supplement their group life and AD&D insurance benefits may purchase additional coverage as apayroll deduction. This benefit is paid by post-tax dollars. Rates are based on the employee or spouse’s age at the timecoverage is issued.Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)All participants covered under Life and Disability coverage are automatically enrolled in the EAP through our life insurancecarrier.
