Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled QC/Safety Technician who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
+ Participate in the teardown, cleaning, evaluation, inspection, testing, repair, and assembly of various equipment such as AC/DC motors, generators, gearboxes, and HVAC equipment.
+ Read and understand electrical circuit wiring and schematic diagrams.
+ Utilize dimensional measuring equipment such as various types of micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.
+ Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, surge, and hi-pot test equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanical and electro-mechanical expertise.
+ Quality assurance experience.
+ Ability to interpret industry, customer, and OEM specifications.
+ Working knowledge of electrical motor, generator, and gearbox design and functional performance.
+ Understanding of HVAC systems and function.
+ Working knowledge of electrical theory and circuit design.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Applied/Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology degree preferred.
+ High school diploma with some technical or trade school or on-the-job training.
Work Environment
This position requires working varying shifts, including weekends or holidays when required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
