Job Title: Power Electronics Control Systems Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Power Electronics Control System Engineer to develop cutting-edge electrification control solutions at both component and system levels, catering to a wide array of applications.
Responsibilities
+ Develop advanced electrification controls solutions at both component and system levels for a broad range of applications.
+ Validate and deliver controls software through code development, simulation, Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) validation, laboratory testing, and field integration support.
+ Interface with stakeholders to develop control system requirements that support vehicle electrification solutions.
+ Conduct advanced electric drive and vehicle system simulation to support control system development and vehicle performance assessment.
Essential Skills
+ Algorithm development
+ Proficiency in power electronics and simulation
+ MATLAB/SIMULINK expertise
+ Experience in Testing and Power Electronics Systems Test
+ Simulation and Algorithm Development
+ Hardware In Loop Testing (HIL)
+ Modeling
+ At least 3 years of experience in advanced power electronics and/or control algorithm development
+ Hands-on experience developing motor controls and power electronics
+ At least 3 years of simulation experience in power electronics, electric motors, and/or control systems
+ At least 1 year of hands-on power electronics testing experience
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
+ Relevant research experience in academic institutes
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Advanced degree with a focus on power electronics and/or control system
+ Experience with advanced power electronic control, electric motor control, DC/DC converter, sensorless control, grid-tied inverter, energy storage integration, and vehicle power management
+ Experience with modeling, simulation, and Hardware-in-Loop testing
+ Experience with auto-code generation and embedded software implementation on microcontrollers and FPGA
+ Experience with advanced control systems and techniques such as observer, model predictive control, etc.
+ Experience with advanced digital signal processing schemes such as filter design
+ Experience with hybrid and/or full electric vehicle applications
+ Experience with advanced research topics
+ Experience with power electronics hardware design

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $52.00/hr.
