    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

    Job Description

    The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting repairs and maintenance on food processing machinery. The manufacturing facility supplies a variety of food products to national supermarkets. The role involves ensuring machinery operates smoothly and efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct maintenance repairs on food processing machinery, including boilers and conveyors.

    + Perform routine repairs and on-line adjustments.

    + Responsible for daily inspection checklists of equipment in assigned area.

    + Perform required line setups, start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns.

    + Lubricate line equipment according to standard operating methods and frequencies.

    + Create/update routine preventative maintenance plans in SAP and monitor maintenance performance measures.

    + Perform major overhauls as needed.

    + Execute PM01, PM02, and work orders as scheduled.

    + Progress through the Line Mechanic progress program to advance to Maintenance Class IV – Line Mechanic.

    Essential Skills

    + Troubleshooting mechanically and electrically (1+ year).

    + Preventative Maintenance experience (3+ years).

    + Repair food processing machinery (2+ years).

    + Electrical troubleshooting, including 480v motors.

    + PLC troubleshooting, specifically Allen Bradley.

    + Industrial maintenance expertise.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must hold a valid Fork Truck License.

    + Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a GMP facility requiring hair nets, beard nets, safety shoes, and safety glasses. The position operates on the 3rd shift from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, Monday through Friday, with an expectation of 10 hours of overtime weekly and openness to working on Saturdays. A $2.00 shift premium is offered. The environment is climate-controlled, providing comfortable working conditions.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
