    Shift Available: 2nd shift Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm-1am

     

    Pay Rate: $23-$30/hour based on experience

    Job Description

    Join a precision manufacturing team specializing in aluminum and steel products for both private and military applications. This role primarily involves working with aluminum computer and systems enclosures, serving defense companies and the US Navy.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up all CNC and manual machines independently and productively.

    + Develop and utilize standard or improvised tooling and fixturing to machine parts to required tolerances as specified by blueprints and work instructions.

    + Operate machining equipment to meet quality and efficiency requirements.

    + Plan tooling, programming, and material requirements for the next scheduled job to ensure efficient changeover.

    + Understand CNC machine programming and modify programs at the terminal.

    + Maintain accurate written and computerized records of tooling requirements and program changes.

    + Perform periodic maintenance as required.

    + Utilize tools, supplies, and equipment cost-effectively.

    + Demonstrate goal orientation, initiative, reliability, and success in achieving department objectives.

    + Inspect own work to verify compliance.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a very clean shop with 20-30 employees. The majority of work involves aluminum. Safety glasses are provided if needed. Dress code includes closed-toe shoes or work boots, jeans, and t-shirts; shorts are not allowed. The shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1 AM.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
