Job Title: Sheet Metal Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking an efficient and accurate Sheet Metal Assembler who can skillfully assemble components and materials according to plans and specifications. The ideal candidate should be able to comprehend both written and verbal instructions while following detailed drawings and work guidelines. Experience in carpentry or roofing, material handling, and mechanical assembly is essential, along with maintaining a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.
+ Operate hand and power tools effectively.
+ Utilize measuring devices accurately, including squares and tape measures.
+ Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements.
+ Follow instructions and execute assigned duties efficiently.
+ Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met.
+ Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Sheet metal fabrication and repair expertise.
+ Ability to install and assemble sheet metal components.
+ Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tape measures down to 1/16th inch.
+ High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in general trade skills for siding, roofing, metalworking, or assembly.
+ Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read blueprints is highly desirable.
+ Positive attitude required; negative individuals not tolerated.
+ Capability to select and properly operate tools for various tasks.
+ Full range of mobility in upper and lower body, including overhead reach and various work positions.

Work Environment
Work in an open-air building exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. Collaborate within a team of 2-3 people, maintaining a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. Regularly required to have full mobility, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting. Must use hands to handle objects and operate tools, and be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment up to 70 pounds.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
