    Job Description

    We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to fill a hybrid role as a Box Truck Driver and Order Selector. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road and also thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role consists of approximately 60% local driving and 40% warehouse operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a box truck/company vehicle to deliver construction supplies to construction sites and companies.

    + Load and unload deliveries by hand and with a sit-down forklift.

    + Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

    + Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

    + Maintain delivery logs and obtain customer signatures.

    + Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick tickets.

    + Stage and prepare shipments for delivery.

    + Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with driving and warehouse operations.

    + Proficiency in order picking and inventory management.

    + Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

    + Good driving record, with no DUI or multiple moving violations.

    Work Environment

     

    Join a smaller team with a family feel, working alongside a warehouse lead who has been with the company for 15 years. The role requires independence and strong direction-following skills. Shift hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
