    Job Title: HVAC Foreman

    Job Description

    As an HVAC Foreman, you will lead a team of skilled installers and tin knockers on a large-scale industrial project for a new semiconductor and solar panel facility. With over 8 years of HVAC installation experience and 4 years in a leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC systems in a 1,000,000 sq ft building. You will report daily progress to mechanical superintendents, work independently, and ensure the completion of daily checklists.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead a small crew of installers and tin knockers.

    + Report daily progress to mechanical superintendents.

    + Work independently to complete daily task lists.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.

    + Install large box duct work, spiral duct, air handlers, air return systems, and dust collection systems.

    + Perform TIG/Stick welding on sheet metal and duct work.

    + Conduct sheet metal fitting and fabrication.

    Essential Skills

    + 8+ years of HVAC installation experience.

    + 4+ years of leadership experience.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading.

    + Experience in duct installation and HVAC systems.

    + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with TIG and Stick welding.

    + Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.

    + Experience in construction and mechanical projects.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work on a large 1,000,000 sq ft facility, overseeing the installation of duct work and HVAC systems. The position requires OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification and involves a collaborative environment with a focus on safety and precision.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Hemlock, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
