Materials Handler- Weekly Pay
Job Description
Material Handlers will work in a climate-controlled and clean environment, primarily around the cleanroom. The shift is from 6am-2:30pm or 2:30pm- 11pm, with required overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles.
+ Examine receiving documents for storage destination.
+ Pull stored materials for orders and move to production or shipping area.
+ Document information relating to receipt, storage, or distribution of materials.
+ Use computer systems to locate materials.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2+ years of experience with shipping and receiving supporting manufacturing.
+ 1-2+ years of experience setting up shipments via computer systems.
+ Familiarity with Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
+ Basic computer skills or ERP system experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3-4 years working within a warehouse or production facility as a material handler.
+ Experience with inventory, stocking, and kitting.
+ Experience setting up shipments.
+ Familiarity with Oracle system is a plus.

Work Environment
You will be working within a warehouse with a team of five people in the Material Handling group. The environment is air-conditioned, and the dress code is casual. Occasionally, you will need to dress for the air lock room, which includes gloves, shoe covers, and hair nets. There are two current openings on the 1st shift. The 1st shift runs from 6am to 2:30 pm, and the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11 pm, with required overtime as necessary. Some Saturdays and additional hours, perhaps 5-10 hours, are expected, with most overtime being voluntary but some required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
