Job Title: QA/QC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Technician to perform quality control and assurance tasks on piles, panels, racking, and electrical components for a general contractor project. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using basic hand and power tools, as well as measuring accurately to a tenth of an inch. You should be mechanically inclined and comfortable with technology, including iPads and computers.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct quality assurance and control inspections on piles, panels, racking, and electrical components.
+ Utilize basic hand and power tools effectively.
+ Measure accurately using a ruler to a tenth of an inch.
+ Operate technology such as iPads and computers for documentation and reporting.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in electrical and quality control.
+ Proficiency in using a scanner or a computer.
+ OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in solar, construction, QA/QC, quality assurance, and quality control.

Work Environment
You will work outdoors at a solar project site in a new construction environment. The schedule consists of 5-6 shifts per week, totaling 40-50 hours, starting at 7 AM daily. You will have three breaks each day: morning, lunch, and afternoon. Safety talks are conducted each morning before work begins. Appropriate outdoor work clothing is required on site.

This is a Contract position based out of Farnham, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
