Job Description
As a General Laborer, you will engage in repetitive tasks involving the movement and stacking of bricks from kiln carts onto a monorail. This physically demanding role requires standing in one area and moving bricks repeatedly.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in all brick manufacturing operations.
+ Mix sands for sand applications and set up and maintain sand applications.
+ Mix slurry for slurry applications and set up and maintain all aspects of slurry applications.
+ Clean, maintain, install, and adjust all dies, heads, and cutting blades.
+ Monitor and ensure the quality of bricks being produced.
+ Track schedules and ensure paints and sands are ready for changeovers.
+ Maintain all standard operating procedures and inventory tracking documents.
+ Observe, report, and assist in department equipment maintenance and repairs as directed.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanically inclined.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Strong mechanical skills and understanding.
+ Willingness to learn and take direction.
+ Experience with production, carpentry, and construction tasks.

Work Environment
This position requires no certifications or medical requirements. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are provided. Dress code includes steel-toed shoes and long pants. The work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM or 10 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springdale, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
