    Job Title: Payroll Manager

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic finance team as a Payroll Manager, where you will play a crucial role in redefining construction industry standards through innovation and collaboration.     Responsibilities

    + Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including weekly and off-cycle payrolls.

    + Interpret and apply union contract provisions related to wages, benefits, deductions, shift differentials, fringes, and overtime.

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

    + Maintain accurate payroll records and audit reports; resolve payroll discrepancies.

    + Collaborate with HR, finance, and operations to ensure accurate employee data, timekeeping, and job classifications.

    + Respond to union audits.

    + Reconcile payroll liabilities and coordinate with accounting for journal entries and month-end close.

    + File quarterly payroll taxes.

    + Assist with updates to payroll software and timekeeping systems and test implementations or changes.

    + Train and support staff and managers on union payroll procedures and contract changes.

    + Maintain confidentiality and protect employee data integrity.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, OR an equivalent combination and extensive experience in payroll management.

    + 5+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years managing union payrolls.

    + Strong understanding of union labor agreements, multi-state payroll, and wage & hour laws.

    + Experience with payroll systems (Trimble/Spectrum, or similar).

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
