Job Title: Cleanroom Technician
Job Description
As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for reading, interpreting, and following Manufacturing and Inspection Procedures (MIPs) and work orders. You will prepare mold or tool surfaces with release film, wax, and other part release products, and use pre-preg lamination techniques to cut cloth and lay up products with varying tolerances. You will ensure the proper preparation of products for vacuum bagging (pre-preg) and adhere to OSHA regulations for storing and disposing of composite materials, adhesives, sealants, resins, and solvents. Your role will support a zero-defects focus and a 'right-the-first-time' approach, inspecting finished products for conformance to specifications and completing all required documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare mold or tool surfaces with release film, wax, and other part release products.
+ Use pre-preg lamination techniques to cut cloth and lay up products of varying tolerances.
+ Prepare products for vacuum bagging and adhere to OSHA regulations.
+ Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications.
+ Complete all required documentation.
+ Inspect laminate surfaces for defects, imperfections, or non-conformance, and correct as necessary.
+ Comply with established safety directives.
+ Sand and trim composite materials to proper dimensions.
+ Understand basic math to calculate, weigh, mix, and catalyze resin.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled environment within multiple interconnected buildings featuring various machinery and assembly departments. The facility promotes teamwork and attention to detail.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
