This position is a dynamic working lead and supervisor role where you will drive the shipping and receiving team while overseeing their progress. You will actively participate in various tasks, including documentation and leadership, and engage in hands-on work on the floor. This role requires flexibility and the ability to assist wherever needed, including operating forklifts, building pallets, loading/unloading trucks, staging, and organizing.

Responsibilities

+ Lead and supervise the shipping and receiving team.

+ Oversee and document progress and activities within the team.

+ Engage in hands-on tasks such as forklift operation, pallet building, truck loading/unloading, and staging.

+ Organize and maintain the work area effectively.

+ Ensure smooth operations and assist wherever needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Ability to operate a crane.

+ Proficiency in assembly and blueprint reading.

+ Inventory management skills.

+ Forklift operation experience.

+ Previous experience as a supervisor or shipping lead.

+ Lead/supervisor experience in shipping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
