Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II for an immediate opening in Patterson, California. In this role, you will utilize your strong mechanical aptitude to recognize, diagnose, and perform general repairs on various material handling and power industrial equipment within our facility. You will work closely with higher-level technicians and gain valuable on-the-job learning experience.
Responsibilities
+ Diagnose and perform general repairs on material handling and power industrial equipment.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on conveyors, sorters, and other mechanical systems.
+ Assist in building and facilities maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, and general carpentry.
+ Collaborate with higher-level technicians for complex repair tasks.
+ Troubleshoot issues related to PLC, VFD, and sensors.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience in a heavy commercial or industrial facility.
+ 1+ years of experience using basic hand and power tools.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1+ years of general building and facilities maintenance experience (preferred).

Work Environment
You will work in a large, climate-controlled facility featuring automated equipment such as conveyors, sorters, and a cardboard baler. The position follows a 4/10 schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, with swing shifts from 1 PM to 11:30 PM and graveyard shifts from 9 PM to 7:30 AM. Overtime may be offered as needed, with occasional flexibility in start times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $58240.00/yr.

401k and PST
Grainger will put 3% a month into your 401k regardless if you contribute or not.
On top of the 3% at the end of every year Grainger evaluates the company’s financial standing and does a PST drop into the 401k. It is a Profit Sharing Program.
This is average of 5-12% of your entire years pay that is then dropped into your 401k
In other words you have the potential of getting 8%-15% a year into you 401k with out you having to contribute at all.
PTO-
First 5 years you get 12hrs of PTO a month. That means 18 days off or 2.5 weeks of vacation a year. This starts DAY one as well.
You can take up to 40 hours negative as well.
