Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift, working from 4 PM to 2 AM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. This role involves using a personal tablet for work orders and paperwork, with a significant portion of the job dedicated to responding to operator calls. The technician will troubleshoot and perform minor edits on Allen Bradley and Omron PLCs, repair and troubleshoot cameras and vision systems, and handle both 3-phase and single-phase motors. The position also includes reading and interpreting electrical cabinet blueprints, minor in-house fabrication, and working with Fanuc and Motoman robots.

Responsibilities

+ Respond promptly to operator calls and troubleshoot issues.

+ Perform troubleshooting and minor edits on Allen Bradley and Omron PLCs.

+ Repair and troubleshoot cameras and vision systems.

+ Handle maintenance of 3-phase and single-phase motors.

+ Read and interpret electrical cabinet blueprints.

+ Conduct minor in-house fabrication for electrical cabinets.

+ Rehome, set points, and start up Fanuc and Motoman robots.

+ Replace sensors and components in vision systems.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, specifically Allen Bradley and Omron.

+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with 480v systems.

+ Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

+ Strong electrical skills are highly desirable.

+ No specific educational or certification requirements.

Work Environment

Work in an 80,000 square foot, clean and temperature-controlled plant. The facility is quiet and equipped with modern amenities. The team consists of 15 maintenance technicians, with three on the 2nd shift and two on the 3rd shift. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and employees receive an annual $150 allowance for boots.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $60320.00/yr.

Vacation begins accruing from day 1
