    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking qualified general production workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting, the ability to lift 50 lbs, a safety-oriented mindset, and a willingness to work in a team setting. Candidates must be open to being trained on various positions throughout the facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general production tasks in a manufacturing facility.

    + Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

    + Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

    + Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

    + Be adaptable to training and perform in various positions as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of general production experience in a manufacturing facility.

    + Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.).

    + Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

    + General knowledge of building materials.

    + Ability to perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

    + Capability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, stand for long periods, crouch, or crawl.

    + Experience utilizing hand and power tools for at least 1 year.

    + Experience operating machinery in an industrial facility for at least 1 year.

    + Experience working in a facility creating glass products.

    Work Environment

     

    The work takes place in a large manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled, with fans to assist in temperature control during warmer seasons. The available shifts include a 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6:15 AM (starting at 8 PM for overtime), and a potential 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Third shift employees receive an additional shift differential.

    This is a Contract to hire position based out of Mount Vernon, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.56 - $21.56/hr.
