Job Title: Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Non-CDL Delivery Drivers who will be responsible for transporting dry loads to customer locations throughout the local branch area using a straight truck. When not driving, you will engage in material handling duties based on a delivery schedule. This position requires both driving and operational skills to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

Responsibilities

+ Drive a non-CDL straight truck and adhere to all safety procedures as per company policy.

+ Deliver and unload products to customer locations promptly.

+ Maintain complete and accurate records and logs of all driving activities and deliveries.

+ Conduct proficient pre-trip and post-trip inspections following proper procedures.

+ Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.

+ Pull products, load, and unload trucks when not performing driving duties.

+ Support other delivery routes as needed.

+ Operate forklifts and other machinery as required.

+ Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience.

+ Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

+ Ability to obtain or currently possess a CDL Medical card.

+ Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.

+ Ability to follow directions and adhere to safe operating procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1 year of relevant work experience preferred in driving, customer service, or a related field.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. regularly.

+ Capability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery.

+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break and minimal overtime. The work takes place in a clean distribution center, which is non-climate controlled, and involves interacting with customers who come to the dock to pick up orders.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.
