    Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

    Job Description

    Candidates will be responsible for comprehensive preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of company fleets. You will be responsible for maintaining transmissions, repairing power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems. Additionally, performing electrical diagnostic testing will be a key part of your duties.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of company fleets.

    + Maintain and repair transmissions, power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.

    + Conduct electrical diagnostic testing.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 3 years of experience repairing heavy-duty engines such as Freightliner, Kenworth, and International trucks powered by CAT, Paccar, and Detroit motors.

    + At least 3 years of experience with transmission knowledge including automatic & manual transmissions and clutch repairs.

    + At least 3 years of experience with hydraulic systems, cooling systems, power systems, and steering systems.

    + At least 3 years of experience with air brakes.

    + At least 3 years of experience performing electrical diagnostic testing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + CDL license is a plus.

    + 1 year of experience with ammonia is a plus.

    + Forklift certification is a plus.

    + 1 year of experience with yard trucks is a plus.

    + 1 year of experience working on Freightliner, Kenworth, Paccar, or Detroit Motors specific engines is a plus.

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70720.00/yr.
