Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse floor by accurately cleaning and sanitizing storage coolers, racking systems, docking stations, and more.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with warehouse managers to consistently complete sanitation logs on rotation.

+ Pick up scraps such as cardboard and shrink wrap.

+ Assist in janitorial duties within the facilities as needed.

+ Ensure floors are clean and free of debris for warehouse operators to move freely throughout the aisles.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in cleaning, janitorial, and custodial duties.

+ Experience in production environments.

+ Ability to mop and sanitize effectively.

+ Strong housekeeping skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Steady work history with a proven record of good attendance.

+ Experience in warehouse or commercial janitorial environments.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasionally to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and explosive materials. All personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided for handling chemicals or explosive materials. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rensselaer, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
