    Assembly Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled assemblers to support increased demand in our Harlan, IA facility by starting a second shift. This role involves assembling cable and cord reels and requires skills within mechanical knowledge and physical ability.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble cables for gears using mechanical and electrical skills.

    + Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and bills of materials.

    + Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical and electrical assembly experience.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

    + Experience with hand tools and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in assembly and manufacturing environments.

    + General labor skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work within a machine shop environment, exposed to fumes and noise. The second shift runs Monday to Thursday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, offering a three-day weekend. The role includes competitive pay with a differential.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harlan, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
