Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

Join the Quality Department as a Quality Inspector, where you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product excellence through meticulous quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and microscopes. This role operates on a rotating schedule, offering both day and night shifts, with opportunities to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

+ Perform quality inspections on products using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and microscopes.

+ Enter inspection data into the computer system accurately.

+ Verify that daily, weekly, and monthly equipment calibrations are completed and documented properly.

+ Conduct cell/module/pack tear-down analysis and reporting.

+ Report investigation, test, and containment results clearly and concisely to the appropriate Supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of experience in quality inspection.

+ Proficiency with micrometers and calipers.

+ Attention to detail.

+ Experience with data entry into computer systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 9 months tenure at each previous job.

+ Comfortable with personal protective equipment and cleanroom environments.

+ Not to be unemployed for more than 30 days.

Work Environment

Work within a vast facility requiring significant walking between buildings and within the plant. The department operates in a clean room environment, necessitating cleanroom attire and possibly a beard net. The facility is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit, emphasizing the 5S3K organizational methodology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $47840.00/yr.

Offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. Company provides $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
