    Job Title: Entry Level Production Worker

    Job Description

    As an entry level production worker, you will be responsible for monitoring the proper functioning of machines and ensuring the quality of the products they produce. You will need to notify supervisors and maintenance staff if any issues occur. As products are released from the machine, you will check for quality, trim loose threads, assemble some pieces together, and pack them for shipping.

    Responsibilities

    + Observe the proper function of machines.

    + Ensure the quality of products produced.

    + Notify supervisors and maintenance if issues arise.

    + Check products for quality as they come out of the machine.

    + Trim loose threads and assemble pieces as necessary.

    + Pack products for shipping.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and packaging line.

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks.

    + Skills in assembling and retail tasks.

    + Knowledge of production packaging and food industry standards.

    + Cashier experience.

    + Sanding and general production skills.

    + Proficiency with hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a manufacturing environment with comfortable temperatures during the winter. Although it can get hot in the summer, new cooling systems installed last year have made it much more comfortable than in previous years.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
