    The Position

    The US Dermatology Business Unit (BU) is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and execution for VTAMA, one of the primary growth areas for the Company. The US Dermatology Business Unit Leader is responsible for leading our Company's Commercial Operations across the business unit and maximizing growth potential across current and future assets within the dermatology portfolio. This position reports to the Head of US Commercial and Government Affairs and sits on the US Leadership Team.

     

    The US Dermatology BU Lead is an enterprise leader and is responsible for working across functions to develop and implement the dermatology commercial business strategy. The incumbent will set the strategy and vision for the future, capitalizing on “must win” opportunities while anticipating and managing key risks to the dermatology business. The role will lead a team responsible for Sales, Marketing, Account Management and Strategic Relations, and will collaborate across the functional areas (Market Access, Commercial Operations, Government Affairs, other Business Units) to deliver results.

     

    The US Dermatology BU Lead is responsible for building and evolving the dermatology organization, focusing on identifying and developing strong talent & building a high performing team. The role will effectively identify, source, develop and retain current and key talent, with a demonstrated ability to energize and inspire others to higher levels of effort, collaboration and performance. The Leader is the driving force in establishing the team culture and a positive and productive work environment.

     

    Consistent with our Company's Corporate Values, this role is responsible for ensuring the strongest cross-functional collaboration, focusing on business drivers and enablers in order to drive business forward in a compliant way. The US Dermatology BU Leader will have responsibility for partnering with various internal stakeholders and business partners (Finance, Medical, Regulatory, Compliance, HR, Policy, Manufacturing and many others), in order to collaboratively plan and execute strategic initiatives.

     

    This position requires an entrepreneurial and growth mindset and thorough strategic thinking to assess and develop plans related to various opportunities that are aligned with the overall business strategy, rigorous prioritization and management of the P&L, and ensuring flawless execution across the business unit.

     

    •Required Education, Experience and Skills

    + BA/BS degree.

    + Experience from leadership roles in and/or managed multiple functions.

    + Minimum of ten years' work experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer products, or other relevant industries.

    + Managed a P&L for a business, function, or brand. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding P&L targets.

    + US Marketing or Strategy development experience.

    + Experience leveraging digital technology to drive business results.

    + Experience leading transformational initiatives.

    + Experience in building strong team culture and collaboration across enterprise teams.

    + Demonstrated ability to attract, lead, inspire, and retain a strong results-oriented team.

    + Demonstrated agility and ability to anticipate and respond to evolving US trends.

    + Demonstrated history of strong performance.

    + Dermatology, Allergy and/or Pediatrics experience preferred. Knowledge of the dermatology specialty, including NP/PA’s is foundational. Direct experience with Allergists, Pediatricians, and Primary Care is desired to help reach key patient populations.

    + Deep understanding of the Access pathways in Derm, Allergist and Ped/PCP is desired.

    + Excellent financial acumen to oversee the P&L and sales forecasts, manage risks and opportunities and lead sustainable growth.

    + Strong leadership capabilities – able to guide, mentor and support local management and organization.

    + People management – knows how to get work done through others by empowering, motivate, listen and providing guidance, setting objectives, managing performance, and providing feedback/coaching.

    + Relationship Building and Influence is a must: ability to build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, customers, and scientific leaders

    + Growth/ Entrepreneurial mindset - has imaginative, broad-based mindset to develop business opportunities. Ability to flex and adapt rapidly to new situations and continually search for new opportunities.

    + Focus on data-driven business decisions and ability to make trade-offs to drive growth.

    + Strong influencing skills - ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at local and global levels and across functions.

    + Consumer and customer centricity – understand the various customer groups, their decision-making progress and their operating environment to inform product / service development and customer marketing as well as shape the external environment to deliver long term competitive advantage.

    + Innovative mindset, willingness to assume measured risk, and demonstrated ability to serve as an organizational change agent.

    + Fast learner, receptive to feedback.

    + Proven track record with new commercial go-to-market models.

    + Fluent in English.

     

    Travel: 33-50% US travel, conference and congress attendance, as required.

Benefits offered in the U.S. include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and holiday time, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.

     

    Annualized Salary Range (US)

     

    $248,400.00 - $422,300.00
