    Job Title: Operator Assistant

    Job Description

    As an Operator Assistant, you will be responsible for locating and supplying materials, weighing, strapping, bagging, and making labels for finished goods. You will also assist in performing in-process quality inspections and maintain in-process inventory by correctly labeling work-in-progress materials in packets. Communication is key, as you will need to inform your supervisor of any material needs as they arise.

    Responsibilities

    + Locate and supply materials for production processes.

    + Weigh, strap, bag, and label finished goods accurately.

    + Assist in performing in-process quality inspections.

    + Inform supervisor of any material needs as they arise.

    + Maintain in-process inventory by labeling correctly and verifying material lot and quantity.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in the production and manufacturing industry.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Understanding of manufacturing processes.

    + Ability to learn and adapt to new manufacturing processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Quality control experience.

    + Inventory management experience.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a welcoming environment with shifts available on different floors. The first shift is primarily English-speaking, while the second shift is primarily Spanish-speaking. Sometimes bilingual communication is needed. Shifts are available from 6am to 4:30pm and from 4pm to 2:30am, providing flexibility to meet your needs.

    This is a Contract position based out of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
