Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Front End Web Developer at Huntington Bank to be responsible for delivery of Huntington's Digital Commercial capabilities related to Rich Internet Application(RIA). In this position, the successful candidate will design and implement complex IT solutions that is in line with the enterprise architecture roadmap using Angular and Java. Will deliver well designed quality software in a fast-paced agile environment. Will work on a scrum team from all disciplines to ensure successful delivery of solutions that add value to the products and achieve business objectives.

Job Description

• Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest Front End Technologies

• Will build a robust solution to manage Customer onboarding for Commercial Digital. This will require integration solutions built in Angular & Java to integration REST APIs that will span Salesforce, SOA and other internal systems.

•Writing tested and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS

• Develop application code and unit test in Angular, Rest Web Services and Java technologies ensuring high performance

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code

• May assist with identifying training needs.

• Will assist in code reviews, architecting and designing RIA solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

• 4 years of experience in the software development field including demonstrated experience developing web-based applications.

• 4+ years of hands on software development experience in Java, Sprint Framework

• 2+ years of hands on experience with JavaScript

• 2+ Hands on experience with a Angular framework (e.g. Angular, React/Redux, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with a JavaScript unit testing framework (e.g. Jasmine)

• Experience with NodeJS/npm tools

• Understanding of single-page-application concepts/architecture

• Experience in Integration with SOAP and REST based services

• deep understanding of Angular (Angular 2+, not “AngularJS”)

• deep understanding of redux architecture

• understanding of Web Accessibility/WCAG

• experience with Sass (“Sassy CSS”)

• experience with TypeScript

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
