Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Technician for our 2nd shift team. This role is crucial in maintaining and repairing dies, ensuring they meet specifications and function effectively. You will be working primarily between 2:30 PM and 11 PM, with occasional overtime extending to 1 AM.

Responsibilities

+ Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate die maintenance.

+ Utilize an overhead crane to safely move dies throughout the work area and into machines.

+ Polish and grind dies as required to maintain quality standards.

+ Perform both MIG and TIG welding on dies to ensure robust functionality.

+ Wire limit switches for die operation.

+ Disassemble and reassemble dies according to specific requirements.

+ Operate mills and lathes to fabricate items with precision.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on dies to minimize downtime.

Work Environment

Join our temperature-controlled, tier 2 automotive facility where you will be part of a small, collaborative team of employees across two shifts. The dress code includes company-provided shirts, jeans, and steel-toed boots. Work the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, with the possibility of overtime extending to 1 AM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
