    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Worker (Entry Level)

    Job Description

    We are seeking an ambitious and eager learner looking to start their career in facilities maintenance. This entry-level position on the 1st shift offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the company as you support the facilities department in maintaining the company's grounds, buildings, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and functional workplace.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the team in identifying, investigating, and troubleshooting issues, ensuring timely resolutions at the main office, grounds, and warehouse.

    + Assist in maintaining a pristine facility environment.

    + Contribute to ongoing projects and general maintenance, including inventory and stocking of supplies and consumables.

    + Perform general cleaning and tidying of kitchens, conference rooms, and training rooms.

    + Conduct weekly facility walk-throughs and audits.

    + Participate in monthly safety walk-throughs and audits.

    + Take inventory and stock consumables such as kitchen supplies, paper, and other essentials.

    + Perform general maintenance tasks, such as changing water filters, light bulbs, and door locks.

    + Assist with event setups and breakdowns.

    Essential Skills

    + Building maintenance

    + Basic use of computers including Microsoft Office

    + Proficiency with tape measures

    + Experience with hand and power tools (such as drills and screwdrivers)

    + Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

    + Effective time management skills

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fenton, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
