About this Job
This position is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, staff position.
Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
+ Minimum of three years of work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills with experience managing teams and collaborating across departments.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.
+ Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
+ Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
+ Must be capable of sitting in stationary position for 50% or more of time.

Job Specification
The Associate Registrar will play a pivotal role in supporting the Admissions and Registrar's Office in managing student records, enrollment processes, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and government regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of academic processes, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of student information.
Job Duties and Other Information
+ Assist the Registrar in academic and non-credit admissions and registrar responsibilities.
+ Manage course and program creation in Banner.
+ Assist in creating the academic semester by collecting data from various departments and entering it into Banner.
+ Support faculty and staff with admissions and registrar services.
+ Facilitate the accurate monthly transmission of National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) reports in coordination with the Financial Aid Office.
+ Update semester transmission dates with NSC.
+ Generate and correct monthly enrollment reports via Banner and NSC until successful submission.
+ Review and correct student records, course details, and Banner catalog based on daily academic reports from LCTCS.
+ Support the Registrar with graduation tasks.
+ Evaluate graduation candidates' academic records using various tools (e.g., Degree Works, Banner) to confirm eligibility.
+ Coordinate and oversee the graduation process in collaboration with Academic Affairs.
+ Update graduate student records and ensure all graduation documents are scanned to the student academic profile.
+ Maintain knowledge of Immigration and Naturalization Service regulations pertaining to international students.
+ Stay updated on rules, regulations, and laws related to student academic records.
+ Responsible for annual review and updates to the academic calendar and catalog.
+ Remain cognizant of all admissions policies and procedures.
+ Conduct annual Admissions/Registrar training for college staff and faculty, or as required.
+ Ensure that daily academic reports from LCTCS are regularly reviewed and updated.
+ Safeguard the confidentiality and security of student records.
+ Participate in enrollment and registration events, outside standard work hours.
+ Serve on various college committees.
+ Support the objectives of the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Services when required.
+ Performs miscellaneous duties as directed.
