    Vanguard is seeking a visionary Senior Manager of Product Management to transform the participant experience across our digital platforms!

     

    As a leader within the Workplace Solutions team, you’ll play a key role in the newly restructured Participant Financial Success organization—focused on enabling participant strategy and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions. You’ll own the strategic vision and execution of digital products that span both Workplace Solutions and Personal Investor, supporting participants as they navigate their retirement journey and explore investment opportunities.

     

    In close partnership with marketing and technology teams, you’ll bring personalized, data-driven experiences to life—especially as new tools like Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) are introduced. This role calls for a strategic problem solver with strong product leadership, technical fluency, and the ability to influence across teams and senior levels to deliver meaningful outcomes at scale.

    Responsibilities:

    + Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew. Provide guidance as needed to develop team members. Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

    + Oversee digital product management activities for multiple digital products, or one strategic product, with cross-divisional impact.

    + Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.

    + Provide guidance and coach digital product teams toward best practices and continuous learning. Oversee teams’ support of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as needed.

    + Facilitate strong business support by working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions, impacts, and client propositions. Drive connection across all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

    + Lead the planning, development, and implementation of new products. Define and analyze markets, develop detailed product features and requirements, and create implementation plans.

    + Influence and apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.

    + Participate in and influence ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.

    + Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, including a strong track record in leading digital product strategy, innovation execution, and team leadership.

    + Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

    + Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving strategic outcomes in cross-functional environments.

    + Strong technical foresight; experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform) is highly preferred.

    + Deep understanding of omni-channel strategy and customer journey orchestration, ideally in a financial services or highly regulated environment.

    + Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Lean Product).

    + Experience working across business lines, particularly in environments across institutional and retail client bases.
