    Minimum qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

    + 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

    + Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

    + Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Experience communicating to and collaborating with cross-functional teams, C-level executives, and management.

    + Experience in Telco, Mobile Virtual Network Operation (MVNO), and network partnerships.

    + Ability to structure complex agreements, negotiate and influence partners, and interpret legal documents.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams in a fast moving environment, with the ability to work on tight timescales and maintain excellent execution.

    + Excellent quantitative problem solving skills, with the ability to demonstrate conclusions based on data-focused approach.

     

    Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

     

    The Google Fi business development team is responsible for defining partner strategy, executing strategic agreements and managing long-term relationships with the business critical partners that enable the Fi business to operate, grow and innovate.

     

    As a Strategic Partner Development Senior Associate, you will establish relationships with our Product and Engineering counterparts to drive business, product and partner strategy while cultivating and executing complex partnerships with network operators and other partners within the Telco ecosystem to support Google Fi product needs and drive business growth.

     

    You will be the primary negotiator on multi-year partner agreements as well as the go-to relationship manager for key Google Fi partners such as carrier distribution channels, operational vendors, and retailers. You will be the subject matter expert on our strategic agreements with them as you partner closely with cross-functional teams to resolve business and technical issues and identify new partnership and collaboration opportunities.

     

    The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

     

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     + Build, maintain, and evolve strong relationships with partners including retail and other carrier distribution channels, operational vendors, and new business development partnerships.

    + Negotiate complex agreements with c-level executives, and manage agreements throughout their life-cycle.

    + Communicate, collaborate and closely work with a broad range of constituents within Google Fi including Product, Engineering, Marketing, UX, Legal, and Operations.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-Product Area teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations to leaders.

    + Demonstrate thought leadership for Google Fi teams by helping to drive product strategy through partner feedback and market insights.
