This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.

Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Project Manager who will drive mission-critical programs/projects and manage the overall government program inclucing systems development efforts, and research technologies initiatives which have great significance to the program needs.
Our ideal applicant will have at least 10 years of experience supporting DoD, military, and or government programs.
What you will do
Position Impact:
+ Lead strategic government program focused on advanced systems development and innovative research technologies that directly support national defense priorities.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Provide strategic oversight of program definition, organization, and execution.
+ Develop and implement short and long-range technical plans.
+ Drive program success through effective resource management and technical leadership.
+ Lead customer engagement and program reviews.
+ Manage budgets, schedules, and technical milestones.
+ Identify growth opportunities and expand service offerings.
+ Guide and mentor program team members.
+ Ensure program alignment with contractual requirements and specifications.
What we are looking for
+ 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
+ Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
+ Prover track record of successful program delivery
+ Clearance: Active secret security clearance.
Preferred Requirements
+ 10 years of experience supporting DoD, military, or government programs.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certificaiton.
+ ITIL certification.
Physical Requirements
+ May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment.
+ Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
