As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. The Director of Operations will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of their area of responsibility. This role is responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing large-scale logistics operations. How you create impact
+ Oversee the management of all client supply chain operations and ensure efficiency, client profitability, and high-quality service.
+ Handle productivity, quality, and safety standards in accordance with company needs and customer requirements
+ Ensure KPIs are meet or exceed for external clients and internal stakeholders
+ Drive a culture of Safety and Quality and set targets to ensure Operational excellence
+ Provide direction, development, and leadership for leadership teams
+ Drive a culture of innovation, profitability, and success that values diverse voices, talents, identities, backgrounds and experiences
+ Complete annual budget, rolling forecast, and monitor to ensure the business unit meets or exceeds the set target
+ Overall P&L oversight of the responsible area
+ Support organic growth of client accounts by identifying and implementing additional client value opportunities
+ Implement automation roadmap for key clients and personnel
What we would like you to bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 10+ years in the warehousing or 3PL space; Healthcare is preffered
+ 10+ years of regional management experience with a heavy P&L responsibility
+ 7+ years of business development experience
+ 5+ years of experience in developing client relationships
+ Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Process Improvement is a plus
+ Experience in supporting DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs
+ Knowledge of Healthcare compliance is a plus
