Job Summary
The University of Colorado Boulder Athletics department encourages applications for the **Creative Video Producer!** The primary responsibility is to serve as Creative Video Producer for select CU Athletics' teams, events & stories, as assigned. Complete the video process from ideation through completion, including brainstorming, research, communicating with relevant partners to schedule shoots/interviews, shooting, editing & revising. Collaborate with Buffvision, Marketing, Creative, Social SID and other departments to brainstorm & produce video concepts that highlight student-athlete and departmental stories & successes.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department's Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
_Video Content Creation:_
+ Brainstorm, produce and implement creative video content including but not limited to game recaps, short-form social media videos, in-venue videoboard content, GIFs, student-athlete feature stories, recruiting content, etc. Capture high quality video content at games, practices, & events for Women's Volleyball, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Tennis and other sports as assigned (including but not limited to Men's/Women's Golf, Skiing, Track/XC, etc.). Follow social media trends in order to create relevant, targeted content.
+ Collaborate with Digital Content staff to ensure consistency of quality across content for all CU sports. Work internally and with external vendors to ensure overall scope and brand of the athletic department is well represented.
_Assist with Intern Education & Leadership:_
+ Mentor & assist interns during office hours, practices & games. Lead occasional workshops on video-specific topics to continue intern education. Conduct research on new & emerging best practices in the industry and bring these ideas to interns & full-time staff to continue to develop departmental knowledge.
_Asset Management:_
+ Maintain organized file & folder structure for all video content on shared platforms (local servers and cloud-based server). Organize, log & melt all game footage shortly after each game. Assist with rolling organization of archives from previous seasons to ensure search ability & efficient structure.
What We Can Offer
+ Starting salary is $60,000. Relocation assistance is available within department guidelines.

What We Require
+ Bachelor's Degree in Media Production, Communications, Cinema & TV or similar. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
+ One year of video experience in collegiate or professional athletics.
+ Demonstrated experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms.
What You Will Need
+ Adobe Premiere Pro (comparable alternative will be considered).
+ DSLR and/or cinema cameras.
+ Audio equipment (lav mics, boom mics, etc.).
+ Digital asset management.
+ Multitasking and prioritizing assignments is a crucial skill for this position.
