Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Records Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately processing incoming client orders, auditing critical data, and ensuring seamless handoff to downstream departments. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, excellent communication, and a background in healthcare or legal records.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Receive and process client orders from websites or electronic submissions.
+ Accurately input order details into the system, including case numbers, court information, and patient records.
+ Audit all data for accuracy and completeness before submission.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
+ Maintain a high level of data integrity and confidentiality.
+ Manage multiple orders efficiently and meet daily processing targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ 1–2 years of experience in medical records, healthcare or legal data entry
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems.
+ Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
+ Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.
Preferred Skills:
+ Phone support and customer service experience.
+ Familiarity with medical billing, insurance records, and quality assurance processes.
+ Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
