We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Medical Records Customer Service Specialist to serve as the critical link between our clients and internal operations. This role is essential to ensuring client satisfaction by providing timely updates, resolving issues, and facilitating smooth communication across departments. What You’ll Do
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, updates, and issue resolution.
+ Communicate via email (70%) and phone (30%) to explain rejections, obtain authorizations, and request additional information.
+ Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of records and data.
+ Investigate and resolve missing or incomplete information by coordinating with relevant departments.
+ Handle sensitive or escalated client communications with professionalism and empathy.
+ Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and follow-ups.
What You Bring
+ Experience in customer service, call centers, or client-facing roles—especially in high-pressure or complaint-heavy environments.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage “spicy” or demanding client interactions tactfully.
+ Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems independently.
+ Familiarity with medical or legal terminology is a plus.
+ Proficiency in email platforms, data entry, and general computer systems.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across departments to resolve client issues.
Preferred Backgrounds
+ High Volume email customer service in either a healthcare or legal environment
+ Experience handling sensitive records such as medical or legal documents.
+ Exposure to invoicing, billing, or electronic health/medical record systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
