    Position Summary- We are looking for:

    + The Product Stewardship organization is embedded in the Corporate Industrial Function, but interacts closely with multiple functions providing regulatory expertise and guidance to the businesses.

    + This position will report directly to the Composites Operations Manager.

    + The Export Compliance Specialist will assign export control and trade classifications for commercial and R&I products. The position accountabilities are described below.

    Position Accountabilities-We count on you for:

    + Train and become an expert on US export compliance regulations to assign product export control classification ECCN ratings such as ITAR, EAR, etc.

    + Conduct trade compliance classifications for composite material products.

    + Examples of responsibilities include assessing impact of export compliance regulations on portfolio and liaise with the Customs Trade Compliance team on data gaps.

    + Align with other Syensqo trade experts in other regions on an as needed basis. Examples of typical export regulations include, but are not limited to: Prior Informed Consent (PIC), Ozone depleting, drug pre-cursors, etc.

    + Prepare compositions and product data as needed to support the SDS authoring process.

    You will bring:

    Minimum Education

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or other technical discipline

    Preferred Education

    + Understanding of export control regulations is a plus

    + Knowledge of SAP a plus, but not required

    Minimum Experience

    + 5+ years’ experience in export control, product safety or other regulatory discipline

    You will get:

    + The base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position will be $84,960 to $106,200 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

    + Three weeks of paid vacation

    + 16 weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations
