    Summary

    The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Director and VP of FP&A in strategic planning, annual budget, financial forecasts, and financial analyses, including: executive level reporting, expense management, financial/cash flow modeling, variance analyses, return on investment analyses for capital expenditures and other projects, trend analyses, tracking of key performance indicators, quantification and tracking of risks & opportunities, and other ad hoc analyses.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Directs preparation of financial presentations on behalf of functional leaders & CFO, including quarterly business reviews, board reviews and other materials as needed

    • Directs the financial forecasting cycle for corporate expense management, in close collaboration with corporate FP&A, executive leadership, corporate functional leaders & accounting, including: weekly / monthly / quarterly forecast cycles; annual budget process; strategic long-range plan process; CapEx and strategic investment prioritization, planning, & tracking

    • Routinely assesses and communicates consolidated financial and operational performance trends (historical and forecasted), using appropriate metrics to identify areas of risk / opportunity and quantify & forecast results / strategic implications

    • Proactively evaluates results, monitors current & past trends, and recommends actions based on key performance indicators, including revenues, cost of sales, operating expenses, working capital and capital expenditures

    • Identifies and quantifies cost savings opportunities to improve financial performance and consolidates analyses for presentation to finance leadership

    • Maintains consolidated company 3 statement model through collaboration with treasury team

    • Works closely with the accounting team to ensure all aspects of the financial close process are orderly and contributes towards the accuracy of the financial results as reported in the company financial statements

    • Reviews investment analysis seeking approval from executive team for capital expenditure projects

    • Identifies, recommends and implements continuous improvement and process transparency

    • Assists in the long-range financial planning process

    • Works as a strategic partner to business and functional leaders

    • Ability to thrive and execute at a high level in an ever-changing and dynamic environment

    Qualifying Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline required. MBA highly preferred

    • 6+ years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibility, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Preferably has been part of a world class FP&A organization and has shown sustained career progress

    • FP&A experience, including business partnership with senior executive leadership, highly preferred

    • Understanding of financial accounting including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow along and financial modeling concepts such as discounted cash flow, IRR, cost of capital, etc.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to communicate key financial concepts to non‐financial audiences, senior business partners / budget owners.

    • Demonstrated understanding of financial processes and systems. Hyperion experience preferred

    • Strong ability and experience in performing multiple concurrent tasks independently
