    Are you passionate about animal welfare and education? The Central California SPCA is seeking a part-time Humane Education/Volunteer Coordinator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be instrumental in educating the community about responsible pet ownership and creating positive experiences for our volunteers.

    Essential Functions:

    + Develop and implement educational programs for individuals and groups about humane treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership.

    + Coordinate volunteer activities and ensure volunteers are engaged and supported in their roles.

    + Plan, schedule, and lead volunteer orientations and ongoing training sessions.

    + Manage volunteer database and communicate regularly with volunteers about opportunities and events.

    + Collaborate with other staff members to organize and promote special events, outreach programs, and educational workshops.

    + Represent CCSPCA at community events to promote our mission and recruit volunteers.

    + Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.

    + Provide exceptional customer service to community members, volunteers, and staff.

     

    This part-time role is a fantastic opportunity to champion the voice of the voiceless and inspire others to make a difference in the lives of animals!

    Requirements

    + California driver's license without major infractions on DMV record.

    + Must pass a federal background check to work with people of all ages.

    + Experience in education, volunteer coordination, or animal welfare is highly desirable.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with people of diverse backgrounds.

    + Ability to develop educational materials and programs.

    + Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and database management.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

    + A passion for animals and a commitment to the mission of CCSPCA.

     

    Benefits

     

    Pay: $17 - $20 per hour
