    Position Summary

    Provides strategic leadership while directing integrity management program and project management activities to comply with federal regulation. Accountable for coordinating and identifying project teams for the completion of Gas Integrity Assessments, Material Verification, Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure, Risk Analysis related activities. Responsible for determining risk and threats to the Company's gas system. Determines and implements preventive and mitigation measures to reduce public risk, system risk, and financial risk to the Company. Establishes and maintains documented and verifiable records associated with program requirements and represents the Company during Federal and State compliance audits of programs. Accountable for effectively navigating business and regulatory processes.

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Provide the strategic leadership and direction for gas integrity programs encompassing multiple states, regions & diverse system operating conditions. Responsible for the effective & efficient utilization of resources with emphasis on safety, cost reduction/control, reliability & compliance with regulations.

    + Responsible for efficient and effective delivery of comprehensive pipeline integrity activities and programs, including capital and O&M project management, risk strategy, assessment strategy, project schedules, overall budget, forecasts and management reports.

    + Responsible for managing the gas integrity programs for multiple states in accordance with State DOT and PHMSA regulations and Company written plans. Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of adequate and accurate records/documents. Represent Company during Federal and State compliance audits of programs.

    + Provides for ongoing, effective & clear communication to ensure the workforce understands the vision & mission of the organization & how their work contributes to the achievement of goals.

    + Responsible for the selection, contracting, and management of key vendors needed to complete integrity work. Serves as primary point of contact to develop excellent working relationships with internal and external organizations to optimize project/portfolio effectiveness.

    + Responsible for developing and writing testimony for company rider/rate filings including obtaining and providing data and discovery responses that support Company strategy in gas rate case filings. Serves as primary expert on integrity assessment methodologies and responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key regulatory agencies and their agents.

    + Responsible for advancing program through implementation of industry best practices, identification and adoption of emerging technology and development of specialized skills sets.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or related field.

    + Eight years of combined experience in engineering, construction, operations, design, and/or project management or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or knowledge.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of codes/regulations including FERC, OSHA, DOT, EPA, PUC/PSC/MNOPS, environmental, land use.

    + Demonstrated industry knowledge and experience with requirements of 49 CFR Part 192 integrity management rules.

    + Strong change leadership, communication and collaboration skills.

    The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $125,900.00 to $178,766.00 per year
