    Job Description

    The IT/Morpheus Administrator works to manage and maintain the Morpheus system within the Lab42 gov cloud platform, to include infrastructure provisioning, automation, and user access control.

    Key responsibilities include:

    + stand up, configure, and manage Morpheus application from ground up

    + oversee all monitoring, reporting, and troubleshoot issue resolution pertaining to the Morpheus application

    + contribute to the development and management of the Lab42 environments as they relate to Morpheus

    + create custom scripts to perform required customizations against any workload

    + automate environment deployments and maintenance through Morpheus

    + be a key point of contact for our UK based customer as it relates to the MxS project, and proactively manage project stakeholders

    + assist in the collaboration between US/UK operations to ensure goals and objectives are met for the project initiative

    + work with cybersecurity to ensure security and stability of the Morpheus application and structure in order to maintain compliance under corporate BAE systems cyber policy

    + participate in Lab42 change management processes as the Morpheus Application administrator

    + active participation during internal audits involving Lab42

    + collaboration with project teams to determine technical infrastructure requirements, identify solutions, and participate in infrastructure solution initiatives to the benefit of MxS

     

    This role will be responsible for building, configuring, managing and maintaining the Lab42 Morpheus Application. Expertise in Morpheus is essential and required. Expertise in AWS cloud-based environments, traditional server/VMs, database, scripting, and application administration is also essential for this role s success. The ability to self-direct and manage inclusive activities with little to no direction as well as experience/involvement in technical projects such as infrastructure stand up and migration activities are required.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

    + Morpheus administration expertise

    + Ability to work with UK stakeholders during UK hours

    + Understanding of user access permissions and requirements within an export controlled environment

    + Experience utilizing the Atlassian Suite of tools

    + Proven communication and collaborative experience across diverse engineering and IT teams

    + Ability to self-direct and act as subject matter expert in areas of system and infrastructure management, database and tooling administration, and technical project operations

    + Familiarity with Federal Cybersecurity policies and industry best practices

    + Expertise in infrastructure design, architecture, development, and ongoing support and maintenance

    + Experience with Distributed Systems, Multi-threaded systems, or Military systems

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Morpheus Administrator Certification (HPE)

    + Experience with Security administration to include enterprise antivirus, malware detection, intrusion detection and audit solutions.

    + Experience with Complex Security, Networking, and Infrastructure deployments

    + Excellent with problem solving and troubleshooting.

    + Experience with Open Source tools, such as PostgreSQL, Rancher, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.

    + Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions, such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible

    + Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, CloudTamer, Azure, platforms and solutions

    + Experience with Linux/Windows administration and environments

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
