    Responsibilities

    Position Summary

    To work directly with SBM Technician to complete a variety of operations tasks that promote the efficient production of a bottles in the SBM department.

    Essential Functions

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment/

    + Monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

    + Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.

    + Ability to setup and adjust downstream equipment

    + Perform routine inspections of the product produced in the department

    + Perform all top load tests as directed by the quality plan

    + Provide general housekeeping duties for assigned area

    + Responsible for maintaining the Food Safety Program (GMP)

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Position Requirement

    + **Manual Dexterity** -- The ability to quickly move hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. The ability to make simple adjustments using tools.

    + **Mechanical aptitude** – The ability to use top load tester and other quality tools. Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    + **Information Ordering** -- The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).

    + **Near Vision** -- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

    + **Extent Flexibility** -- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.

    + **Wrist-Finger Speed** -- The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

    + **Multilimb Coordination** -- The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion.

    + **Lifting Requirements** -- Ability to lift 30 pounds over head to total height of six feet

    + **Walking/Standing** ---Requirements ability to walk and or stand for 12 hours per day.

    Authorities

    + Perform essential functions and assigned duties while communicating any deviations from the requirements to management

    + Report any safety concerns to management and to shut down any equipment that presents a safety hazard

    + Make any necessary adjustments to produce a quality product and to stop production if there is a threat of nonconforming product being produced

    Position Hours

    + Assigned 12-hour schedule

    + Schedule rotates as follows: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, etc.

    + Flexibility for occasional overtime and call-in work required

    Organization Relationships

    + Report directly to Shift Supervisor for purposes of scheduling, performance evaluation, and compensation assessment

    + Indirectly reports to Production Manager for product requirements, quality requirements, and overall departmental goals;

    + Indirectly reports to Technician for direction of day-to-day responsibilities
