Responsibilities
+ Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities
+ Maintain control and motor systems
+ Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts
+ Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
+ Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines
+ Communicate daily with Production and Shipping Managers
+ Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines
+ Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts
+ Communicate daily with the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager to develop a daily list of priorities for the maintenance team
+ Drive 5S workplace organization in the maintenance area and support the initiative throughout the manufacturing and warehousing operations
+ Research and purchase parts as needed for machine break downs and/or spare parts replacement
+ Improve machine up time by ensuring all CM’s and PM’s are properly performed and documented in MaintainX
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Basic math skills
+ Good English language skills
+ Welding skills
+ Strong mechanical knowledge
+ Strong electrical knowledge
+ Advanced manufacturing controls and wiring experience
+ Advanced manufacturing mechanical experience
+ Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems
+ Good communication skillsPrior process machinery trouble shooting
+ Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
+ No fear of heights
+ MS Office literate
+ Basic understanding of motor controls and ability to read wiring diagrams
+ Strong motor skills
+ Regularly required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch or bend
+ Frequently climb towers up to 35 feet high
+ Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
+ Regularly required to stand, walk, communicate, see and hear
